UAE 2015-16 - Abu Dhabi - Mezquita Sheikh Zayed

Recuerdo muy bien cuando supe que había una super mezquita que se podía visitar por turistas en UAE, Fer me contó que él ya había ido y que estaba bien... Él muy sacrificadamente me llevó (El hombre lo hizo porque yo quería ir y eso costaba más de una hora de conducir) y la verdad es que fue creo que un hombre debe amar mucho a una chica como para hacer lo que hizo. ;)

El paseo fue un poco loco porque el GPS murió y nos pegamos una perdida horrible, tocó seguir los cartelitos jeje

Cuando finalmente llegamos, fue un alivio inmenso. Yo ya tenía mi vestido negro típico de las locales. La entrada era gratis pero por norma las mujeres debían ir super tapadas y sin mostrar el cabello ni tobillos :P

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Arabic: جامع الشيخ زايد الكبير‎‎) is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates,[1] and is considered to be the key site for worship in the country. 

The design of the mosque was done by a Syrian architect named Yousef Abdelky.[2]

The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted to establish a structure that would unite the cultural diversity of the Islamic world with the historical and modern values of architecture and art.[3] His final resting place is located on the grounds beside the same mosque. The mosque was constructed from 1996 to 2007.[4] It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. The building complex measures approximately 290 m (960 ft) by 420 m (1,380 ft), covering an area of more than 12 hectares (30 acres), exclusive of exterior landscaping and vehicle parking.[5]

As the country's grand mosque, it is the key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers. During Eid it may be visited by more than 41,000 people.[1]

Para el 2016 la madre de Fer vino a visitarnos, la llevamos a la mezquita para que conociera. :)

Suele haber mucho turista pero moderado. Me encantan las paredes, la decoración, los cristales, los adornos, TODO jajaj parece que aladdin va a salir volando en cualquier instante por una ventana jajajaj eso parece mejor un palacio que una mezquita... Lo triste fue ver que las mujeres van tapaditas y los hombres re frescos con sus camisetas.

OMG quiero una así para la sala de la casa :P jajaa

Con paredes así para qué luces en el techo de la pieza?

Lo siguiente fue dar un paseito por la línea de la playa, fue muy relajante y con eso terminamos Abu Dhabi. La verdad es que la gente prefiere vivir en Dubái porque hay más cosas para hacer y Abu Dhabi es más de locales y reservado... A mí me gusta mucho dubai aunque ambas ciudades tienen su encanto.
